The Volcano Line Featuring Larry Edgar

When it came time to design our new Volcano line, we wanted to do something that was not only high quality, but had unique features that made them recognizable by the details of each part. We also wanted to make sure they were going to hold up to everything our team could throw at them from technical grind combos on the streets to heavy trails sessions and guys like Larry Edgar blasting to the moon on ramps. When it came time to design our new Volcano Fork, we wanted to do something new and unique that had a clean look, but increased the overall strength of the fork. Our Volcano fork is made from seamless Sanko 4130 chromoly tubing with a CNC machined steerer tube, triple butted legs, Investment Cast dropouts with a 30mm offset and a full-post weld heat-treatment. What makes the Volcano fork unique is that the steerer tube ovalizes where it meets the legs. By doing this we accomplished two things; adding additional space for larger 2.40" tires and increaseing the area available for welding. Having more room to weld increases the strength of the overall junction. It also allowed us to create a unique lip that flushes up with the head tube to give the front end an amazing look.
The Volcano fork is available in Flat Black and Flat Raw with a weight of 2.31 lbs. (black). A 7075-T6 Alloy CNC machined compression cap is included.

Next up, we have our new Volcano Stem that is available in front and top load versions. While designing these new stems, we wanted to do something that would give it a unique look that stood out, while ensuring the best quality. The Volcano top and front load stems are CNC Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a wider handlebar clamping area with anti-slip grooves and wider head bolts to keep your bars tightly in place, so you don't have to worry about slipping. On top of that, there is additional machining and chamfered edges to help save weight and give it a sleek look.
The Top Load Volcano stem has a 50mm reach, 30mm rise and 29mm stack height with a weight of 12.7 oz. and color options of flat black, Dark Gold and Space Grey.
The Front Load Volcano stem has a 50mm reach, 7mm rise and 29mm stack height with a weight of 12.1 oz. and color options of flat black, Dark Gold and Space Grey.
