Warranty and Lifetime Warranty

All Flybikes products are warrantied from workmanship defects for a period of two years, and every warranty request is handled on a case-by-case basis.

 

Lifetime Warranty

Some of our products (frames, forks, bars, stems, alumminum pedals, Magneto and brakes) are insured from workmanship defects for life.

 

Flybikes Lifetime Warranted products are insured under the following cases:

 

1. FRAMES & BARS: SIERRA, MOTOSIERRA, AIRE, FUEGO, DOVE & SAVANNA

Cracked welds & tubes

 

2. VOLCANO FORKS

Cracked welds & tubes

 

3. DOLMEN CRANKS

Cracked arms & spindle

Bent arms & spindle

Spindle twisted

 

4. VOLCANO STEMS

Cracked body

 

5. RUBEN ALUMINUM PEDALS

6. MAGNETO HUBS

Cracked shell, axles & driver (Cracked flanges without using guards are not covered)

Flybikes guarantees the replacement of these products at no additional cost if it bends, cracks or breaks under “normal riding conditions”. These conditions are defined as “using the bicycle within your own capabilities”, and Flybikes reserves the right to decide which requests meet this criteria.

 

This warranty does not cover:

Damage to the product that is caused by an outside actor, like a car or an earthquake.

Damages such as dented or bent tubes, damaged bearings, stripped threads, normal wear or anything other than defects in manufacturers’ workmanship.

Damages resulting from modifying this product in a questionable manner. This includes modifications not approved by Flybikes and not performed by a professional bike mechanic.

 

Flybikes Lifetime warranty is effective on products purchased from January 1st. 2022. 

 

Flybikes’ warranty is not responsible for the finish of the product, like raw frames and parts, as they are not a manufacturer problem.

 

How do we study each warranty request

Products purchased on an authorized dealer:

If a warranty issue is suspected, please contact the dealer where you purchased the product for warranty approval.

Ensure to provide your name, order number/receipt/proof of purchase, phone number, photos of items to be covered under warranty and reason for warranty coverage.

The dealer will contact us for warranty approval and product replacement.

If warranty is approved, The dealer will provide the replacement product. Some items may be requested to be returned to Flybikes before replacement item(s) is/are sent or repaired.

 

Products purchased through our webstore:

If a warranty issue is suspected, please send an email to the Flybikes Support Team: info@flybikes.com.

Ensure to include your name, order number/receipt/proof of purchase, phone number, photos of items to be covered under warranty and reason for warranty coverage.

In order to approve the warranty, the product must be sent to our facilities to be inspected.

If the warranty is approved, Flybikes will decide if the item(s) will be repaired or replaced.

Some items may be requested to be returned to Flybikes before replacement item(s) is/are sent or repaired.

Warranty details:

The customer is responsible for the shipping costs to send the product to our warehouse for the warranty claim to be approved and processed.

 

The warranty does not cover shipping costs (both ways).

 

The warranty does not cover products that have already been replaced under warranty.

 

Faults or damages resulting from improper assembly, misuse, lack of maintenance, incorrect use, negligence, or product modification will not be accepted as valid warranty claims.

 

Frames, forks, bars, and parts painted by any person or company not associated with Flybikes will automatically void the warranty, as we cannot verify that proper materials and procedures were used, and therefore cannot guarantee the strength and durability of the product.

 

Tires, inner tubes, brake pads, and other products subject to normal wear and tear due to their use are not covered by warranty.

 

If we determine that the issue is due to misuse or neglect, we reserve the right to charge for the repair and the return shipping of the product.

 

Any item returned without Flybikes approval will not be considered for warranty.

 

Flybikes reserves the right to replace a damaged product with a different model if deemed a more suitable replacement.
